Mr Zaini (ex-physics lecturer)

He is plumplish with big eyes, hehe. Speaks like this:

"...according to the syallabus..."(in this deep-deep voice) Haha. Stares at you with this big big eyes, but somehow as he is spouting physics propaganda he's not really looking at you. Though he is. but he doesn't seem to. Cause he's like staring at you like it was an empty space, and you're not there. But you are. ( i know, confusing!!!) He's good though. Hehe. Not teaching us anymore, though.

And there is, Mr Kuldip. (chem lecturer, and also Lynthia's fav lecturer)

As he speaks, (super refined english to the max), you are not only learning only chemistry, he is like an English Teacher, a Moral teacher, you name it.

"Fill your filter bottle with distilled water, its a sign of courtesy to the next student."

"Don't block the highway!!!! This is a highway, let others pass!''

"I said something so funny, why is no one laughing?" (everyone proceeds to laugh)

Then yesterday in class,

Mr Kuldip: What is the oxidation state of Zinc metal?

Everyone (unanimously): +2!

Mr Kuldip: Noooo!

Everyone: *blur*

Everyone: Oh, oh, metal not ion! Zero, sir!

Mr Kuldip: In thirty years time, when you see me in Dataran Merdeka (why there, i don't know), I'm going to ask you the oxidation state of Zinc!

Yes, me is back on this wonderful Thursday for a whole week of holiday! Yes, one week may not seem aplenty, but unfortunately, for the whole one and a half years in KTT, my max hols will only be: One week. How sad. Anyway.. i'm going to blog about a few 'stuffs' between the last post and this.

The "stuffs" :

1) Felicia !!!

Yes, Feli.  For behold, I am fulfilling her desperate dream of being blogged about. I asked her what should I blog about, and i got her cliche answer : her. Lol... Okkk...here goes.. Feli is this super duper nice girl whom I've known for about...six years now? Yup yup. I've sat next to her for five years since Form1 to Form5, isn't that cool or what? haha..She's also this super duper genius in maths (Mrs Ng's pet) who is considering a future in the world of figures: Acturial Science or Maths and Stats. To this wonderful girl, my good friend, I wish you all the best in your future, may you continue to grow in the Lord and remember your promise to me haha:P Happy liao ma?:)

2)Exams...

Today was my last day of my four-day long exam. The first in quite a long while. And lol, it was quite tough... It's harder than what we all would have liked, and more and more I'm grateful for the few months I spent at TAR, where I got some of the basics... Today after Physics test, my wonderful housemates and I went to the Mini-mart where we (aspiring cooks) bought small sausage cocktails, crabmeat and Maggi flavouring, brought it back and celebrate!! Steamboat haha in our new rice cooker. Very chun wan. Topped with Maggi Mee. Yums.

3) Housemates :P

Haha. What is there to say.. But its been really great la, for seven weeks now, living under the same roof with Suraya, Lynthia amd Yasmin. We tend to go a bit crazy at wierd hours at night,. expecially on nights before exams. So far, we have braved leaking taps, scary plumbers, and a bee infestation together.. :) (well, the scary plumber thing was more of Suraya alone lol). But still.

4) Passion Conference.

Last last Sunday, I went with my college's cf ppl to the Passion Conference at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. It was, as one of the guys at cf put it, jesus from start to end. It was great... Passion is like a group, Chris Tomlin and his band, Loiue Giglio (the speaker) and they tour seventeen cities having this conference. Hope they come again next year, was really blessed and challenged by it. :)

Although we have a prick of pride when visitors comment on how homely our apartment at KTT is, and we swell visibly when an invader from another apartment tell us how clean our toilet is, and though the floor shines after being mopped (and cellophane-taped for hair), there is still no place like home. Ahhhh...home.

Being home from the Kolej Tak Terkenal aka Kawasan Tanah Terbiar aka KTT, is being pampered by a good chinese meal and waited on head to toe. Haha, and hot showers too. (yes, we only have cold water at KTT). Being at home is living in luxury.

That is, after being sick for almost a week, and finally getting better and better and better and almost completely well again, thank God. Being sick is no fun. Concoctions of rock honey, liang cha, and Redoxon courtesy of our mummy Lynthia (:p) plus with all the prayers prayed for me (thanks, all:) ), I got better. I lost 3 kg!!!!!! This cannot cannot cannot happen again :S :S :S

Today. Games Room. Ping-pong.

My friend: *hits the ball to me*

Me:*hits it back*

My friend: *stops momentarily* "Eh.. joanna ah.. ni zhen de hen sou hen sou la, wo kan ni ren xiao xiao zhi, tou xiao xiao zhi, ren jia kan dao ni dou xiang yao protect ni.. "

Been getting comments like this all day long of how skinny I am. -_-

Anyway, on to a brighter side, I've been realising how small this world is actually. Its like everyone is connected to everyone, someway or the other. Like Elise and Tabby knows a friend who knows Lynthia, who is my roommate. And Alicia's roommate's friend's friend knows Lynthia, who knows me, and I know Alicia. And Yasmin's ex-classmate who just came to KTT knew my churchmember and Leow ( haha, yeah Leow, she knows you from SAM). And there's another guy here from Teluk Intan who knew Phraveen a long time back. Haha. So chun la.

I'm supposed to be attending class now...first day of classes too at that, but I'm instead sitting here in front of this old Samsung computer haih...

Class was supposed to start at 9am this morning...so at 8.50 or so I went down (hehe thats the benefit of having a class right below your tangga). But waited and waited and waited until 9.35 or so and found out that the lecturer went to the clinic. Never inform wan..otherwise can sleep longer lol.

Since the first lesson was Physics Practical, it was supposed to be a two hour class so we went lepak at these tables at a dark lorong in between the two blocks lol. We talked, exchanged hp numbers... (goodness, my new classmates, the Chinese ones la, all speak Mandarin so super fluently, sometimes they talk so fast, I feel stupid cause cant catch what they say, haha)-- But maybe my Mandarin will improve here? Hopefullyla:)

Then just before 11 went to a lecture hall for Chem Lecture. Sat down waited and waited until 11.20 or so before finding out that the lecturer was at a meeting. -_-  -_-  -_- . So my next class is only at two....so long more!!! Not like I love classes or what la, but today is the first day, and this isn't school anymore! :( Gah..

On the brighter side, Suraya brought her guitar and I brought mine! hehe...my housemates should form a band. Lynthia can play drums or keyboard or something and Yasmin can sing... Lol. Maybe we'll get money doing that on the balcony haha.

On the darker side again, my classes finish at 6 everyday!!! Except Wednesday ( starts at 11 ! :) and finishes at 5)-i love wednesdays! :)

But, must look on the brighter sides and ignore all these petty little things that just come and creep in and steal away our happiness..
